  Over several decades, we've stopped many times at the Cove in Westport on our way from Kingston to Perth and beyond. The Inn sits at the bottom of a large hill and overlooks the Big Rideau Lake and a large pond. Nothing is nicer than lunch on the balcony on a warm summer day. The Inn is also close to the Rideau Trail which joins Kingston and Ottawa. After a sweaty day on the Trail, nothing is more refreshing than a cold, craft beer from the tap. It would be followed by a lovely dinner and a restful overnight stay.

  Our room was small & rustic but comfortable Food was great. People were very pleasant and helpful. Great value.

  Great evening. Turpin's Trail and pickerel ( and lots of other food) at the buffet! Buttertart pie for dessert - can it get any more Canadian?

  The food was incredible and the service was extremely good. It felt like home. We had the Friday night all-you-can eat roast beef buffet.
